I’m a Chilean-born ceramic artist based in Maleny, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Before ceramics, I worked as a graphic designer and my love of colour, composition and design still plays a big part in the work I create today.

Creativity has always been part of my life. Growing up in Chile, I was surrounded by art, with a talented artist mother who involved me in her creative projects from a very young age. That early influence shaped the way I see and express myself creatively. Even now, little hints of my Latin roots often find their way into my work.

Finding clay changed everything for me. I fell in love with hand-building and with how much freedom clay gives me to create pieces that are expressive and imperfect. 

​

One of my greatest passions is glaze experimentation. I love layering different glazes, testing colour combinations and seeing how they move and react during firing. Glazing is a huge part of how I develop each piece and often influences the direction of the work itself.

My work lives somewhere between nature and imagination. I love taking inspiration from the natural world and interpreting it in my own way, creating pieces that spark curiosity, invite you to look a little closer and bring a sense of wonder and magic into everyday life.
