If I tell you that I put my heart and soul into every single piece I make, would you believe this? I don’t throw, I only handbuild. I do this because I like to take my time with what I’m building, make it unique… perfectly imperfect.

For someone who has always struggled with perfectionism, challenging myself to literally build where there is no symmetry required… I love the story each piece has to tell.

As a person who loves fairytales, to be able to build mugs that I have specific ideas of in my head and to see these results that are so dreamy and magical and both functional and decorative… makes me a bit emotional to even think and gives such massive satisfaction.

I’m not looking for perfection anymore… I just do what feels right, what I feel in the moment and that is so much more meaningful than anything else.

Oh and how cute are these little mushroom fungi mugs? I’m completely in love with them. I have only made a handful and I think I will keep it that way….they feel too special to be repeated too often 🙃 #ceramicmugs

Each of these little houses holds its own magic. When I make them, I’m not just shaping clay... I’m building small worlds. I imagine who might live inside each one: the painter who leaves their windows open to the smell of rain, the family who gathers by a fire on cold nights.

The process is slow and mindful. No two houses are the same, just as no two stories are the same.

For me, making them is a reminder of the comfort and magic that a home, even a tiny one, can hold 🤍
